Rpattzcards is an unofficial, non-profit fan driven project organized for the birthday of British actor Robert Pattinson. We are not Robert Pattinson and nor are we affiliated with him, his management or his friends and family. We are fans who want to put a project for Robert’s birthday together with other fans. The information contained on this myspace is for informational purposes on our project. No copyright infringement is intended. All materials belong to their original owners. If you are the original owner of any piece of media and you would like it to be taken down, please contact us and we will remove it immediately. This is a project. About me:
We all know our boy was born on May 13th 1986. This means we have about 5 months time to organize a Birthday Project for Rob. Let's start with the basics, though:
1) No, I'm not Robert Pattinson. I'm not his agent. I'm not one of his sisters either. I'm just a fan like all of you. I don't know him personally, but I like all of his interviews and movies and songs so far.
2) I'm not a moderator or administrator of any fan website. I think there are enough websites with Robert or/and Twilight related news and content. I visit pretty much all of the websites daily, though. This was just an idea I had and I hope some fansites will get involved when I'm finished with this myspace.
3) This myspace is still under construction. That's the only reason why I didn't put a nice layout on yet. First I want to get the content written.
4) Every fan of Robert, no matter the nationality, the gender or the job can take part in this, so long you follow the rules.
5) This is not my personal myspace. I do own a personal myspace, but this one is only and specifically made for the project.
6) This being said, I want to let you in on what I am planning: We had projects to send him letters, clothes, boxershorts and music already. We did send him scrapbooks and parcels already. While doing this, we will show him WHO his FANS are and where they are coming from. All you have to do is buying a postcard of your hometown and tell him who you are on the back. In the end I'll most likely put all the postcards in an album of sorts.
Please check our blogs daily, as we'll always bring you the news there.
1) Please just send in postcards with pictures of your hometown/city, which have the regular size.
2) Please write your address/nationality on the back of the card, because the album will be organized after nationalities and we need your address in case we want to send your postcard back.
3) In case you want to send a picture with the card it shouldn’t be bigger than a passport photograph and you should write your name on the back of the picture.
4) I need the following information on the postcards: Your name, your address, your country, your age, why you like Robert Pattinson or what he has inspired you to do. Please also write something like "Happy Birthday".
5) Please don't use vulgar language, don't write anything rassistic and don't write something hateful about anyone. I won't include such postcards to the project. Try to use good grammar as well.
6) Postcards must be written in the English language.
7) Please write something worth his time reading. I don't want to read stuff like "Bite me", "Marry Me" or "Make me your babies". You should not mention Twilight/Edward more than once. This is about Rob, not his character.
8) Should you dislike Robert Pattinson, please don't participate. I won't send hate mail to him. In case you write something hateful about us we won’t include the card in the project either.
9) Donations are welcome. You don't have to donate money, you don't have to donate anything. If you want to, please write me a message. You can find a Paypal icon above in case you should want to donate through Paypal.
10) In the end please put all the stuff in an envelope and send it to me per mail. I'll give you an address as soon as I've got one.
11) Deadline is April 13th, 2009. This is going to give me one month before his Birthday.
12) Please don't send in weapons, bombs, Aids needles or anything dangerous *lol*. Please don't send in underwear either ^^ Robert will receive an album of postcards and little pictures of you only.
13) Please send me a message right after you sent your entry/postcard/envelope. This way I'll know when it's going to arrive and I can pick it up.
14) Please don't send in presents. This is a postcard project. The p/o box has limited space. The album is our present to him.
NEW RULES!!!
15) Please don't send in postcards in which you tell him to date someone. That’s violating his privacy.
16) This isn't really a rule, but I think I'll write it here anyway. We decided we would sign our postcards like "giving Robert an autograph".
17) In pictures of yourself you have to be fully dressed. Otherwise we'll consider it as inappropriate and won't include it in the album.
