Buy Parliament of Fooles at CD Baby!
Released in March 2008, Parliament of Fooles represents two years of hard, and often convoluted, work. With its release, Rubber Universe has made the transition from a cover/tribute band to a full-fledged art rock group with a lot of prog and power pop influences.
Starting out as an Alan Parsons Project tribute band, Rubber Universe has moved into original studio work while retaining their love for the Project and other prog rock icons like Pink Floyd in their live gigs.
While working on the album and developing its live show, band members have continued to work on material from other bands, most notably ELO's classic "Can't Get It Out Of My Head". Several other songs are in various stages of development from diverse musicians like The Project to Nightwish to Porcupine Tree.
