Hey There! I just wanted to say hi and thankyou for all your support. I am sorry if I cant write back to everybody it is not because I don’t want to, but more because I am busy working away at a million and one things and only get very little time to do much else. However let me take this opportunity to thank everyone for adding me, writing to me and supporting me, it does NOT go unnoticed. I read all my comments and messages and they always make my day. I get asked a lot of the same questions so I will answer a few of them here xx
How did you become an MTV VJ?
Well, I went through an audition process during an MTV VJ Search last year and auditioned in Melbourne before being flown to Sydney as a finalist. From there we did these crazy stunts Bam Marjera set up ( smashing TVs, Skateboarding at monster park dressed as Koalas, kissing strangers and drinking 100 shots of beer in 100 minutes ) the public voted ( which really means my mother voted 7,000000 times) and I was hired as Mtvs new VJ. Before MTV I was doing a course at VCA in Melbourne for acting, I was modelling and also working full time. I pushed myself in every way to develop all the skills I needed and wanted to follow my dreams. If you want to succeed you must never stop learning, never stop trying and just keep being yourself.
I get asked a lot of questions about who I am dating… All I can say is that sometimes the most important thing in life is to keep things Sacred.
Can you give me some advice on getting to where you are?
I don’t think I am somewhere that amazing lol, I mean I AM VERY proud and happy and thankful, but the reality is I am on TV I’m not saving lives. If a job in this industry is what you want just keep focused and never lose sight of it. Its easier than being a doctor and it is certainly not impossible.
How do I come out to my friends and family as being a lesbian?
Well! As much as I’d love to give advice on this, I’m not a counsellor and every situation is so different. For some people ‘coming out’ can be extremely hard and for others it’s a walk in the park. Don’t ever feel you need to tell people because your partner tells you to, or because your friends have .You are your own person, you make the choices in life that effect you. I came out when I was really young because it was right for me. I couldn’t keep it in, and I had a supportive family. I was lucky, but I never judged my friends or girlfriends who were yet to come out. As I said, it’s just too different person to person. If its really upsetting you maybe go and see a school counselor or speak to someone you really trust. Your beautiful no matter what and being gay doesn’t change a person.
hey i forgot to ask this question earlier, how the hell did u do 100 shots in 100 minutes?? i've asked a few people if they tried it and they say that they get tipsy after just 5 shots lol how did you do it??
