Rudi has performed along the side of artists such as The Roots, Mos Def, De La Soul, Mf Doom and Def Jux. Besides his musical pursuits he has been breaking for over 13 yrs. and is an acclaimed B-Boy, his crew "Flipside Kings" have traveled in and out the country competing in, judging, and winning various events in places such as France, South America, Holland, Canada, U.K. and Asia. Rudi is also a member of "D-Projects," a cross section of conservatory and street trained artist creating provocative contemporary performance and currently touring with their latest piece "Scratch & Burn," an anti-war ritual that begs the question "when is war not the answer?" In addition, commissioned by Miami Light Project and the Carnival Center for the Performing Arts, he premiered his one-man show "Insanity Isn't" at the "Here & Now" festival in Feb. 2006. In the piece written by himself, and directed by Teo Castellanos, his character Acey Sickly tries to sleep through the American dream and ends up waking up to an American nightmare. He is plagued by finacial burdens, media propaganda, religious beliefs, keeping up with the Jones, his 9 to 5 and apocalyptic prophecies. B-Boy movements, rhyme, beatbox and live music weave together his journey back to insane sanity. Rudi has now spent the last 4yrs. fueling his new found passion for theater/performance art and new creative expressions, while working to bring it to a broader audience.
