Rumraket is a friendly record label run by Rasmus Stolberg together with the other members of Efterklang who all are part of the musical board where new adventures are planned and agreed on.
Below you can see the titles we have released so far. By pressing on the album covers you can purchase the different titles and make the artist, Rumraket and yourself happy...
The Rumraket story:
In the spring of 2003 the five core members of Efterklang recorded 5 songs that they wanted to release as an EP with three bonus video collages from the 6th member Karim Ghahwagi. Very few people knew who Efterklang were at the time, so they had to release it themselves.
The Ep was named Springer and the label was named Rumraket (Danish for Space Rocket). Springer came in a handmade package of white fake fur and was only produced in 500 copies.
A year later Efterklang signed with the british label The Leaf Label and in the fall of 2004 the album Tripper was released worldwide. Alongside with the Leaf Label release Efterklang produced a 1000 handmade covers and included bonus videomaterial on a special limited Rumraket release of Tripper.
Summer 2005 marked a new beginning for Rumraket. With distribution in all of Benelux, Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and The UK the label has now been upgraded to a real record company that isnt focused on only Efterklang, but will release great music from all over the world.

Det er jazzfestival i København og vi spiller... Men først skal I høre vores gode ven Sam Amidon spiller et par timer før på et andet spillested... Det lyder lidt forvirrende, men det er det ikke.>

Kl.21-22 Hygge i indre bys festlige jazz gader:-)
Kl.22.30 Slaraffenland - Lades Kælder
Hyggen skal I selv stå for - så klarer vi musikken. Der er kun 5 min mellem Lades og Huset.
