2006: After a Spring Break recording project turned into an EP titled “Safety.”, classmates Dan McCurry, Nick Jenkins, and Ash Hopkins started performing regionally as the band “Run Dan Run” (affectionately known as “RDR”) in the fall of 2006. 2007: In the summer of 2007, RDR released their first full-length album, “Basic Mechanics,” and toured the Southeast in support of it. In December 2007, RDR put on a special performance at the College of Charleston billed as “Your Heart Does Not Belong In My Freezer.” which featured a 9-piece expanded version of the band. The live recording of this concert was later released in a limited run of hand-pressed albums. 2008: RDR continues touring with dates along the East Coast from Georgia to Massachusetts. RDR begins to perform more regularly as an acoustic act. 2009: RDR releases “27 Coming St.”, an acoustic EP recorded live on an October evening in 2008. In support of the new release, RDR has resumed touring.

That house show was really good, so I'm glad there will be more. Plus your living room was a pretty interesting setting, with all your thrift typewriters and super comfortable couch, haha.
