The Rustlanders blend elements of country, blues, and rock into their own unique sound. This sound combined with familiar melodies and lyrical passages that embrace the American spirit are what makes The Rustlanders music so easily accessible to your ears and mind. The group originated in 2004 with a half dozen songs that were written by guitarist/vocalist Jason McIntyre and Guitarist Jason Tutwiler. In November of that same year Corry Drake would further define the sound by adding the bass lines to the expanding repertoire of original material. The lineup would soon be solidified with the addition of Chris Rattie on drums. Chris & Corry had a history together as the rhythm section of Grateful Dead cover band Jack's Farm and they locked up just like old times. However, it was Chris’s harmony singing and skills as a songwriter that proved to be the missing link that was needed to complete The Rustlanders sound. That was 3 years ago....
Now, The Rustlanders are releasing their first full length studio album, simply titled—
"The Rustlanders.” We hope you enjoy—see ya ‘round.

I really enjoyed you guys at the Thunderbird Cafe. Too bad I will be out of town on June 14, but I'll keep my eye out for upcoming dates in Pittsburgh. If not, maybe a road trip to State College is in need!

We had a great time in Costa, filled with monkeys, good volcano views, plaintains, and polite people. My only musical acquistion was a simple flute, with a dolphin painted on it.
Saw you at Howler's, but didn't get a chance to stick around and greet ya. Awesome set--let us know if you need an opening act sometime! -Thom from TDBB
hey guys! I love that you're playing in Pitt now... moving on up! And I'd like to think that my speedy delivery of your makers and straub's had something to do with it :) Rock on, miss you guys!
Hey Rustlanders, Today was the last time I got to see you guys play for what seems like it will be a while! Thank you for making State College that much more interesting for me throughout the years. Come to D.C. or Argentina to play sometime!
