nowadays i still listen rock :) and still planing making up my own punkrock band...but i really enjoi listening house and some pure techno..so i'm DJ also.. and steve porter is my idol! :)

Rusty. Who is he?
Rusty was born in Kranj in 1985 but was raised in Ljubljana. His first touch with music was when he was about 8 years old. He was in music school. Learning notes and playing instruments. His passion for music drove him not just into playing instruments in music school but also learning to play instruments on his own. At first he hated music school, but a few years later he was glad he finished it. In junior high school he already listened to some electronic music because of his other love - dancing. But playing guitar gave him a chance to familiarise himself with not just electronica, but also rock, punk and all kinds of music.
When he was 14, Rusty found techno music and fell in love with it in a split second. He tried to produce it but with not enough experience he decided to wait a few more years. About a year later his first visits to clubs made his passion to play music even bigger. With his friends he started organising private parties and there he played music using his computer and played all kinds of music just to satisfy people. Some time later his friend showed him turntables and vinyl and taught him how to really do it. He then bought his first equipment. Practicing at home and playing on his private parties didn't give him satisfaction anymore, so in dissapointment, he sold everything and founded his own band when he was almost 17. He and his friend found other people to play with them and a band called Vendelbo was born.
But making music and playing didn't last long. When they lost the place where they could practice, the band soon fell apart. So a few years later his passion to electronic music was brought to the surface again. Now he fell in love with progressive sounds and again tried playing as a DJ. He got his first real opportunity when he started working in the famous discoteque in Ljubljana, Factory. He had an opportunity and he grabbed it with both hands, bought equipment for the second time and started practicing mixing and playing music (first on vinyl, but when technology advanced far enough he switched to using CD players). Fun Factory resident DJ Jackie saw his potential and gave him a few warm up slots on their parties.
Rusty's first bigger appearance was on the Exit promotional party 2006 in Factory. Slowly Rusty was getting noticed by other DJs and people. He began to receive offers to play in clubs over Slovenia. Nowadays his sets are like a story that's building up to an explosive end and with a flow that you won't easily forget. Always watching people on the floor and trying to satisfy their needs with music. In 2007 Rusty applied to Support Your Local DJ contest to be seen by an even larger public...and won. Today Rusty is resident in Club InBox. So far he has played together with many international big names and faster and faster he is getting known all around Slovenia. He also started producing his own material again, imprinted with his own unique drive. Undoubtedly, as soon as we get to hear his tracks we will have no other choice but to play them over and over again. Like Rusty says: Always Go With The Flow!

SUMMARY In the second weekend of July, the Slovenian coast will be, now traditionally, a scene of the DiscoNautica festival, where tens of thousands of party people gather each year. The main summer gathering in the northern Adriatic has touched the near-by Izola last year and this year it will span over even more area of Koper.
