Hey everyone,
This is my official myspace page. Doing away with the "bio" to make it more personal... So here we go...
I'm a professional musician born and raised in LA. I never really thought being from LA was anything special, but after living in different countries, having many friends from all over the world and coming back to LA and being a musician, I've found that being from LA and being a musician to boot really was something rare...
I've been writing with the very talented George Woods (New Montgomary and ex-Valora) since 2006 and our first release TIME was released in 2008 which is now available on iTunes, CD Baby and Amazon.com.
I've been told I sound like Morrissey, Eddie Money, Jim Morrison, Bono and Michael Stipe. Tell me what you think!
I've been in a few magazines, won a few awards and yada yada yada... But I think aside from seeing your name in print in publications, holding a physical release of something you created from scratch has the greatest sense of accomplishment (right after Gold and Platinum recordsof course)... The feeling that you took what was just an idea; something intangible, and created something physical for the world to hear and enjoy is a great sense of self accomplishment.
My first full length album is a concept album dedicated to and about Anne Hathaway which is due out in Fall 2009. Its something I'm very proud of that George and I have put a lot of time and effort into.
The next album after that is also a concept album titled: Take a Stand which will follow in early 2010. The songs are a bit darker compared to the AH album because they deal with my feeling of the world and the state of affairs rather than love and heartbreak. You can hear the first single demo "Surrender" on my playlist now.
You can check out the banners above to see what artists I'm currently working with as well as find a select discography to the left.
Thanks all!
