There is only word to describe this rising star of the dance music world…“persistence”. Ryan Riback has built his name through hard work in the studio and networking with the biggest names in the dance music industry.
Already an established young producer and DJ, Ryan left his hometown of Johannesburg, South Africa in 2006 and set his sights on Melbourne, Australia, home to some of the biggest names in Aussie music. From record stores to record labels, Ryan didn’t stop until he had a list of the who’s who in the music industry. His first Australian release came with Vinyl Pusher Records, who released the international favourites “Everything in America” , “Touch me on the Dance floor” and international club monster “Boom” which went on to be featured on BBC Radio 1 and championed by DJs Dave Spoon, Lee Mortimer, JELO and more.
In between his original works, Ryan focused a lot of energy on remixing. Infamous tracks like Faces of Meth, Jungle Boogie, Speed Up and Biscuits all became dance floor destroyers and put Ryan’s name firmly on the world map, instantly setting him apart from the rest of the crowd. Now gaining massive international support, Ryan’s “dirty” sound was in demand and saw him go on to do remix work for the likes of TV Rock, MC Flipside, JELO, Toolroom Records and legendary house icon DJ Dan.
After all these remixes, bigger doors started to open and he began working with major labels such as Sony BMG and Universal. He went on to remix Macy Gray & Kaz James from the Bodyrockers’ international smash hit “Can’t Hold Back” and Aussie rock legends The Living End’s massive hit single “White Noise”.
Teaming up in 2008 with fellow immigrant producer J Nitti, they formed the act “Overzero” whose first track together got picked up by dance music radio legend Pete Tong, who championed their song “In My Bedroom” on his Bedroom Bedlam show. The track was picked up immediately and signed by one of the most respected house music labels in the world… Azuli Records.
This is just the beginning for Ryan Riback as 2009 sees him headlining tours to New Zealand, Canada and the USA, as well as exciting originals works and many more high profile remixes.

Hi Ryan! For me, your music is one of a kind and you are a great inspiration for my work. Sadly, your tour never takes you to Austria, as I would really enjoy to see - and of course hear - your life performance. And - needless to say - you have MY VOTE! keepz on rocking Kev
Thank you for your friendship and I am glad you enjoy my music! I could not have done it without your support. I am very excited and full of inspiration that I can't wait to share with you.
