Influences
Jon Foreman, Switchfoot, U2, and most importantly, my own life experiences that God has allowed me to enjoy.
Jesus once said, "Everyone on the side of truth listens to me." To this, Pilate replied, "What is truth?" There are a lot of ways that people interpret that exchange, but this is how I understand it. Pilate is a man with everything you could ask for: a top notch job, plenty of money, and more power than many of us will ever experience in a lifetime. Even so, something is missing... the truth. He's searching for truth... he yearns for it... and as he's standing there, he has this feeling... a shiver up his spine... an intuition... this man he is presiding over has the answers to all of his questions; he had Truth incarnate standing before him! There is a struggle within each soul that begins from the day we're born... we're all searching for truth... for answers... for a purpose in this life. My music is my attempt to find those answers. It kinda seems funny to me that no matter which direction I'm intending to go with a song, eventually it all leads back to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. If you keep searching for the truth long enough, eventually all roads lead back to HIM as the answer to all of life's seemingly "unanswerable questions". The goal of my music is to express my own journey, and to encourage others to press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called us heavenward in Christ Jesus. So continue to dream. To hope. To question. To doubt. To fall. To get back up again. Continue to take life one step at a time.

May God give you... For every storm, a rainbow, For every tear, a smile, For every care, a promise, And a blessing in each trial. For every problem life sends, A faithful friend to share, For every sigh, a sweet song, And an answer for each prayer.
I dont know what you are thinking about for your new song, but i like it. Its got a yellowcard feel to it. I know you wrote it for Ashley, and i dont know if you want to keep that just between you and her but i think its a great song, and if Autumn Riddance could do it, thatd be sweet. Let me know.
That's pretty neat! Is it just guitar that you play?
Hmm well aside from the "random", I like a lot of foreign music, such as Irish, Israeli, Spanish and alot of British Pop Rock. And then I am really fond of a few Christian artists, mostly acoustic style.
So when you do shows, do you just stay locally in your area, or ever venture out of state?
Your welcome! Music that I listen to, well lets just say that if you got to take a look at my ipod artists pretty much all of them would be Christian. Steven Curtis Chapman’s new CD Dancing with Cinderella is one of my favorite, along with Lincoln Brewster, Chris Tomlin and of course Rush of Fools. Oh, and how could I forget Casting Crowns! On the contrary I also enjoy more pop rock artists, such as Relient K (which is how I came across your site) Superchick, and Switchfoot (although I only have The Beautiful Letdown. How long have you played guitar? Do you also play the piano? Just wondering since I think one of your songs has piano on it.
