Back in 1999 rygen bought his first pair of turntables and since then he has never considered giving up from perfecting and updating this craft.
His diverse musical influences are put into life in his work as a DJ, leading him to an unique selection of music styles. From his first gigs in 2002 till the present day, rygen has always been passionate about presenting people with music which is new to them.
Apart from many gigs in Portugal, he has also played in Spain and Germany.
In 2009 he started a record label and events promoter together with Mould / Dare2disco, revamping the 'dodgy choices' concept initally started in 2006.
His regular “Enlarge Your Audio” nights take place at 31, one of the most established small clubs in Porto. EYA nights aim to promote a broad range inside electronic music and it will certainly be a hard task to catalog them in just a few genres.
