Lady Smiles from Vienna is DJane, Compiler, Radio Show Presenter, Sound Consultant and certificated Music Business Manager. A natural path because of being a jazzy influenced music lover through and through since her youth. Her affinity for delicious sounds raised up and results in a constant growing selection of own tunes. Finally she took her first steps as DJane in 2005 and started to spoil the audience of many well known locations in Austria and beyond, although she never appeared as “turntable wizard”. Rather she built up a good name in the international scene, just because of spoiling the highbrow audience with sophisticated, exhilarating music selections, which people hardly find in common radio stations - a cheerful gentle DJane, who spreads finest sounds and bright smiles to make the listeners simple feel good! You'll sudden meet her in the jazzy mix at the most hippest bar locations or heating the dancefloor at discerning events. So far, the leading highlights in Lady Smiles delightful DJ carrer was to play the after show party following the live concert of Nicola Conte Jazz Combo at the E.O.N Jazz Night / Bratislava in June 2011 and to play along with Club Des Belugas on New Years Eve 2011 in Tbilisi/Georgia. Furthermore, Lady Smiles delievered plainly audible sound consultings on various CD projects for Wave Music/GE and next, the Viennese Bar music expert served her own interpretation of a seductive cocktail made of finest grooves and rare tunes on her first proper Compilation named “Bar Bubbles” in 2009, followed by her beat-fanatic recipe for “Club Cookies” in 2010 (CD’s rel. by Holophon). In the early stages she was invited several times to produce some radio guest shows for the public listeners in Spain, Greece, Germany, Romania & USA, until she started to run her first proper monthly music magazine on Radio Orange 94.0 FM / Vienna for a periode of 2,5 years. Since May 2010 she is part of the UK Jazz Radio presenter team, to keep promoting „loud n' proud“ her favourite sounds, always strictly based in the fields of Nu-Jazz, Headz and Groove.
