SAF SAP was born in 1994 and was created by FALLOU N'DIAYE and KOULY BARRY, the two singers, percussion's players and composers of the Band.
SAF SAP is a band from Marseille (France ) composed by multi racials musicians ( Ouest Africa and South of France ). The band was influenced by different styles of music through the AFRO GROOVE style.
The Songs are writen in Wolof ( langage from Senegal ) and in french as well. SAF SAP is talking about Urban's society problems, love and violence.
The band has been discoverd in France at " Le printemps de Bourges festival " in 1997, and has been touring all over nation after this event. The band is writing his first album at the moment " Nit Ki " witch is already the first track's name.
Two songs are already into the GLOBAL SOUL COMPILATION at PUTUMAYO WORLD MUSIC's LABEL ( NEW YORK ).
The band was choosed for the WORLD MUSIC FESTIVAL ( STRICTLY MUNDIAL ) in 2003. ( Dock des Sud MARSEILLE ).
SAF SAP is coming back today with his new live version AFRICAN NU-SOUL with new songs.
