sahffi is an all original musician based out of Baltimore. sahffi's style is a spontaneous blend of rock, folk, and blues, stemming from her early love of classical music.
sahffi has a degree in performance from the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, Maryland, but throughout her whole musical career, she has had a driving need to write intensely inspired songs and lyrics. She finally gave into the need and became a solo artist in 2001.
sahffi now performs solo, with her sister as a duo, and with her band, which includes her sister Shelly Work on vocals, Sean P. Finn on bass and violin, and Zach LeFeber on drums.
sahffi is currently working on her second album with her band, entitled, "Turning Tides". She is recording at The Bunker Recording Studio with Chris Bentley (http://www.recordinbaltimore.com). THE OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE IS SEPTEMBER 23, 2008. The album features guest artists such as Rene Hernandez on trumpet, Jason Love on cello, Rob Thorworth on guitar, and features a song written by Ken Gutberlet with the composer playing dobro.

I just read your story tonight, & saw the pic of the tatoo! Interesting story, lovely tatoo. That blue pigment looks like it must've especially hurt though. :)
Looks like this is somewhere leg-gish, no? Next time I see you you'll have to show it to me "in the flesh!"
Thanks for sharing. Really awesome idea in Eight Stone Press, really reveals a lot of personal stuff about so many of the artists & other folks around Btown we love & hold so dear.

OK, this is what I was talking about. This is formt he TV show on CBS, How I Met Your Mother. The character Robin has a serious aversion to malls. They think it’s because she did porn in a mall setting, but ti turns out to be the following:
It was so great to see you again and hear you sing! My heart jumped up and put a smile on my face as soon as I saw I had a message from you. I really wish you well. What does sahffi mean? alex
It was great to hear you sing tonight. This is where I have you in my top friends, next to Kelly, the band from LA I was talking about. Leep doing what you are doing. Keep growing as you are growing. The universe will light your path with meaningful expereinces and provide abundant blessing, alex
Hi sahffi! Just stopping by to hear your lovely music. We should try to do another show together this summer or fall. Let me know if you have any ideas.
