Anime, cartoons that don't suck, music, learning about as many things as humanly possible, music, video games, dancing, the goth subculture, unique things, and did I mention the music thing? Oh, and ranting about just about anything.
It's a shorter list to say what I don't like: most country music, some gansta rap, and that's it. I'll listen to anything and I'll probably like it. I love sounds that are different, or music from the '60s, '70s, '80s, and the '90s. If I haven't heard it before, try me; I just might enjoy it.
Movies
I enjoy foreign films, anime films (Japanese language tracks only, please), some musicals and action films and many comedies.
Some of my favorite films: The Women, Network, Grease, The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, the Revolutionary Girl Utena film, Spirited Away, 301/302, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, House Party (only the first one; the second one was bad and nobody should ever mention the third one ever again), and the Last Unicorn.
Television
Books
I love japanese manga when it's well done because it's cheaper than anime DVDs and you get a different perspective of a series that way. I also love Bathroom Readers, comic books, and classic literature. I stopped reading real books once I got my first degree and I'm slowly getting back into reading books with more words than pictures.
About me: What is there to say? Anybody who knew me fairly well knows how strange I am. I watch cartoons and Japanese anime in my spare time, I sing all the freaking time and I am notorious for my ridiculous temper. I'm going back to school to work on a PhD studying sequential art (read: comic books) because, let's face it, I love to learn and there were people out there who thought this was actually a good idea. I have wanderlust and an inability to go anywhere outside of Ohio. Curse my familial loyalties! A music career is still an aspiration of mine but, if all else fails, I may run off to be a comic book script writer or a Sex ed teacher. Who knows? Stay tuned...

Who I'd like to meet: People who aren't creepy. In need of friends since I don't go out much anymore (but still want my own space). I'm also on the lookout for anyone interested in either forming a band with a person who plays a non-band-friendly instrument (viola) or looking for a singer who has an eclectic singing style. I don't know how much time I have for that, but I can make time. I'll even sing backup! Just looking for a break here!
