Samaritan hailing from Hoofddorp and Amsterdam has had more band members than songs. Samaritan has played more shows abroad than in the rehearsel room. A band with some highs and lows

Cornerstone in Samaritan is guitar player Marijn (Enemy Ground), who started this band after his departure from Born From Pain. Together with drummer Gijs, also known from the band Neuk!, and vocalist Luca, who is very active at the moment with his other band Embrace Destruction, they have been the core of the band for the last couple of years.

Recently added to this list is guitarist Michiel (ex-Return To Reason) and Robert on bass (ex-Divine Sins). So it looks like we finally got our shit together!
again....

In the years that Samaritan was active, they played a huge variety of shows and festivals. The band became a known name in the hardcore and metal scene in just a small amount of time.

Samaritan has shared the stage all over Europe with bands like: Sworn Enemy, 100 Demons, Walls Of Jericho, Born from Pain, Bulldoze, 25 TaLlife, No Turning Back, Agents of Man, First Blood, Agnostic Front, Parkway Drive, 108, Maroon, Nasty, Backfire, Blacklisted. NJ Bloodline, King Of Clubs, Knuckledust, Burning Skies, As We Fight, Rise And Fall, Sonic Syndicate, Arma Gathas, Carach Angren, After The Burial, The Agonist and many more..

In 2007 Samaritan recorded their first demo called "Release The Burden" which was released by German label Filled With Hate.
