Eh Up!
Cheers for having a look.......
I'm a pro guitarist, and am a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music (MMus) in London, and Leeds College of Music BA(hons), where I was awarded the Eric Kershaw Award for Guitar, and I'm currently employed as a Professor of Guitar at The Blackheath Conservatoire of Music in London. I have been fortunate to study guitar with John Parricelli and Howard Alden.
I've played at many venues across the country, in a variety of line ups, from solo to big band. I've performed at The Vortex, The Dean Street Pizza Express, The Bedford in Balham and the Spice of Life Jazz Clubs in London, as well as many regional venues, across the country. I've recorded for BBC Radio 3's Jazz Line up, and BBC Radio 4's 'The Gift,' and have gigged with Billy Cobham. I've recently completed a national tour with Theatre Alibi, performing called 'Caught,' which was a new play about the life and times of Carravaggio, the 17th centuary Italian artist.
I'm currently involved in a few different projects. I'm in a jazz hammond trio with Nick Peck on Organ, and Vince Clark on Drums, and I lead 'Noria,' an acoustic ensemble, who explore the common ground found between Jazz and Arabic music. I'm also the guitarist in Kid Charlemagne, a groovin funky jazzy folky type of thing, and I get to play my Flying V in Funkatomic. As well as all this, I play guitar in Mahatma, a band that play the kind of obscene 70s fusion that will come back into fashion any day now.......and then there's 'The Void,' a global beats project. I'm also working with the Rhomboid Mane, producing loops and phat grooves for R+B/Nu-Jazz singer Viccimarie Powers.
I run a small music tuition service here in sunny Kent called Weald Tones, check out the website for more info!!!

It's been too long. We should really try to hook up at some point. Had pencilled in Champions' League Final, but them's the breaks, I guess...
Incidentally, if others had listened to my theory that ginger hair weakens the gene pool and should be eradicated, then the result may have been very different. First leg, at least...
Avark! So glorious it was for the Dark Antelope and Moisten Mage to once again come face to face. I can feel the mana flowing back through my arcane channels. The runes are glowing and my artefacts are swollen with power anew! My wand recharged, i shall return to my shires with a moisten aura around my bosom!
Sam, you look like you've got a badger up your arse in that profile picture. You still coming for a drink on Tuesday? Can't wait to see you - it's been so long! Mike and Oli will be there too.
I am on tour next week with this exciting quartet comprised of Parisien and Londonian musicians playing all original compositions. Come and check out the music if you can get to one of our dates below!
