Fitting neatly into the urban electro genre the Mofo label are pushing, its squelchy staccato blips and bad-ass bassline propel it along nicely. But then comes the Kickflip remix and OMG! The Sheffield man injects steely techy breaks and a fantastic snaking bassline into proceedings, ensuring that there's enough mindfucking squelchy noise bizness up top while keeping the bottom end tight as fuck. The staccato stabs are muted, but the electro-funk factor is still high.
