San Dimas Charvel's and San Dimas Jackson guitars.
I seem to have developed a passion for them, and currently own 3 of them. I also have a Gibson Les Paul Custom and a Fender Elite Gold Strat added to the mix also. For amplification, I use the DigiTech GNX-4 for recording and practice and I have a Rivera M100 head if I wanna get rowdy (yup, I'd do that).
Music
70's and 80's rock, and a major fan of the 80's Metal and Glam scene...
I grew up playing in different bands in the Central Maine area...and met a lot of cool and very talented people.
I have a major love and lust for 80's guitars. It was what all my heroes played, what I seen in the Guitar Magazines and also on MTV and on tour with the big acts of the day.
In the last couple of years, I've really gotten into the history of San Dimas Charvel's and Jackson's. They are astounding guitars, and each one was basically it's own identity, as there were no production guitars made by them.
I'm fortunate to have a lot of friends who are also into these guitars, and have been a wealth of information and friendship to me. Some have even helped me to acquire them, which I am indebted.
To me, nothing compares to them...playability, tone, fit and finish, and just kick-ass mojo set them apart from all the rest.
Guitar is my passion, it's a part of me, my being....

My heroes are my true friends....ones which will stick by you no matter what. I cherish my friends above all else...my best friend being my wife, Krista.
She's awesome...my buddy, my confidant, my lover, and generally a terrific human who is warm, loving, beautiful, loyal, and smart (although she does play stupid so people won't expect too much lol!!).
My other frineds, some of which are here on My-Space, are also really cool people who I've met through various internet guitar forums...people who are talented, love guitars as much as me, are artistic, and great people.
So, in no particular order, my friends: Chuck "Splatter" Edgerly, Tom Butler (one of my oldest and best friends in the world), HippieTim, Emthraxalicous, Annah, Jared, Diablo Mozart, and some I haven't mentioned.
I'm a medically retired US Marine now living in Virginia with my wife and critters. As you can see by my profile, guitar and music are a very large part of my life. I live them, breathe them, and generally am not too far away from one at any given time.
Since the VA has effectively crippled me, there's not a whole lot I can do...but, that's life I guess....I'm now officially disabled, so I've become a stay-at-home dad for the most part keeping up with the household duties. After I have my work complete, all I have to really do is play guitar.
In a very short time, I'm going to get a private instructor to help me get to where I want to be musically, and ultimately I'd like to go back to school and get my performance degree in guitar....I want to become as good as I can possibly get and continue to grow as a player. Maybe eventually I'll head back out to the stage with a band, I dunno...I may be just as happy here at home in my studio recording for myself and collecting guitars.
I miss my buddies at Camp Lejeune more and more every day. I miss the Corps more than I ever realized I would. The civilian world is NOT all it's cracked up to be.
