She is back with the hot club track, ´Name Of My Baby`, the first taster from her debut album scheduled for release this coming autumn. This first material of her own shows that Sandra has been busy both musically and personally since the breakup of the band, and that she remains one of Germany’s most charismatic female singers. Her expressive voice stretches from irresistibly melancholic to thunderously aggressive, with her musical range covering pop, crossover and metal.
´Name Of My Baby` is a perfect example of a powerful rock track with Sandra Nasic once again impressively proving the class and acquired maturity of her voice. The pumping beat, tough guitar riffs and her vocals, threatening to explode in the chorus, seamlessly meld a stylistic arch from the Guano Apes era to the present day with this dance number bursting with verve, esprit and dynamics, plus a memorable hookline that sticks in your head. For her debut as a solo artist, Sandra worked in London, Berlin and Stockholm together with renowned producer Oliver Pinelli (Wolfsheim, Zweitfrau, Kain) and top mixer Peter “JEM” Seifert (Donots, Slut, Virginia Jetzt!, Muff Potter, Liquido).
Her former combo Guano Apes were one of Germany’s most successful bands both domestically and abroad for more than a decade. In 2000, the band won the MTV Award as “Best German Act” and went on to win innumerable other awards, including the ECHO, the VIVA COMET, the 1LIVE-Krone and the ´IFPI-Award` for over one million sales of the Apes debut, ´Proud Like A God`.
All three of the band’s studio albums attained gold status, while their singles landed regularly in the Top 10 of the German charts.

Mit dem heißen Club-Track ´Name Of My Baby` präsentiert die frühere Guano Apes-Sängerin Sandra Nasic eine erste Kostprobe ihres Debütalbums, das noch in diesem Herbst veröffentlicht wird. Mit ihrem ersten eigenen Material zeigt Sandra, dass sie die drei Jahre seit Auflösung ihrer Band musikalisch und persönlich genutzt hat und mehr denn je zu den charismatischsten deutschen Sängerinnen zählt. Ihre ausdrucksvolle Stimme reicht von melancholisch-eindringlich bis zu donnernd-aggressiv, die Palette ihrer stilistischen Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten von Pop über Crossover bis zu Metal.
´Name Of The Baby` ist das Paradebeispiel eines wuchtigen Rocktracks, bei dem Sandra Nasic die Klasse und hinzu gewonnene Reife ihrer Stimme eindrucksvoll unter Beweis stellt. Der treibende Beat, das harte Gitarren-Riffing und ihr Gesang, der im Refrain geradezu explodiert, spannen übergangslos einen stilistischen Bogen aus der Guano Apes-Ära in die Gegenwart.
