| General | Books, stories, writing, art and Altered Books. I also like to make jewelry, but I'm not very good at it.
Doing new things at work, like Learning 2.0, where I learned to do this! (Special thanks to Christine Lavin, for the inspiration!)
| | Music | Celtic and Native American. Old time Rock'n'Roll. Carly Simon and Maria Muldaur. | | Movies | I always thought "Practical Magic" was a nearly perfect film. "Gone With the Wind" of course, because even though it doesn't end happily ever after, it's a fabulous romance.
I just watched, "The Prestige" and it was wonderful. Of course, anything with Hugh Jackman is a favorite of mine.
| | Television | I like "Ugly Betty" and I consider "Deadwood" to be the best televison show... ever. The writing is fabulous.
And for some reason "American Chopper" with Mikey, Paul Jr. and Paul Sr. is really addictive. A dysfunctional family that is still lots of fun to watch. Only in America! | | Books | How could I ever choose one favorite? But, for several years, "Year of Wonders" by Geraldine Brooks has been my favorite book. I'm reading "The Last Witchfinder" now and Gerri Russell's "The Warrior Trainer" which is fabulous! | | Heroes | My son Garth, who just passed away. A beautiful person, who found joy in every moment, despite his many challenges. I strive everyday to be more like him.

About me:

I work for a library system, creating programs for all ages. I get to meet very interesting people, like storytellers, authors, poets and performers.
I also write, and I've published a romance, "Beneath A Silver Moon". I just finished a book about witches in colonial America, and I'm trying to find a new literary agent. I live in the Northwest, in a place the Native People called "The Valley of the Moon" with my husband and sons.
