I cut my teeth in a band called Watership Down which later became Rival Flight. We played around the east coast of Australia for a few years and played locally with Big Heavy Stuff, Sodastream, Paul Kelly, Knievel, Sekiden, Screamfeeder, Not From There, Deloris, ukiyo-e, 2 Litre Dolby, Purplene, The Rebel Astronauts, Something for Kate, My Disco, Brendan from the mighty Sandpit and many others that I've now forgotten.
We also played with June of 44, Trans Am, Sam Prekop (Sea and Cake), Rebecca Gates (Spinanes), Low, Smog & Arab Strap. We recorded an E.P. and an album (the album was never released, but there are a couple of those unfinished/unmastered tracks on a page which you'll find in my friends list).
I've been working on a few records over the last couple of years and am now ready to take pre-orders for the first of those, 'Under & Among' (4 tracks from which are available as high res mp3 downloads on this page). Mastering has been completed for this one and we'll be sending it off to press very soon. So, if you'd like a copy, it'll be AU$20 delivered to your door, so message me for details and we'll work it out.
Also, we'll be completing the second one, 'The Spirits Don't Always Lift 'em' and the third, as yet untitled, in August with releases to follow shortly afterward.
