You guys need to get more CD and shirt packages available for Dark Matter Dimensions. Or just release a new shirt (perhaps not black? are any really heavy bands willing to make a colored shit?)!
I love the new album. For one thing, it's catchy as all get out, which I think is fantastic for such heavy stuff. But it's not as if the catchiness comes at any cost; the music is solid, with powerful mood shifts within songs, nice melodic riffs (and some intentionally dissonant kinds of sounds, which really work), and memorable solos. Oh, and did I mention the vocals? Two amazing vocalists who offer a greater variety of screams than almost any band I've ever heard (and they're all the shit!), and the singing is very solid, with a great timbre to Lars' voice. I almost forgot about the lyrics - they explore ideas about the limits of human perception, the other worlds that exist beyond our awareness, the integration of machine into man, and similarly fascinating ideas questioning the nature of our reality.
Seriously, one of the most well-crafted albums I've heard in quite a while. I see this as being a lifetime favorite! Thanks for what you do.
You guys should tour the USA with Mutiny Within, Into Eternity, and The Faceless and call it the "We Have More Talent In Our Taints Than All of You Have In Your Whole Bodies" Tour.
