Mostly instrumental, heavy beats with thick but minimal synths, guitar, etc and lots of found-sound collage hanging around. Power noise / electro / industrial / tribal / down tempo / ambient / aggressive music you can dance to.
Scar Tissue emerged in 1990 out of the San Francisco goth/industrial scene, released three CDs on 21st Circuitry Records, and appeared on numerous compilations throughout the 1990s. Steve & Phil, the two long-time members, continue to write, record and perform individually, together, and with other projects. A series of limited edition releases is planned for 2008 featuring material created in the decade after the band's last official release in 1998. After last year’s wildly-successful 25th anniversary Batcave event, The Batcave returns to its original spawning ground of London’s West End on Sunday July 19 for another night of blasphemy, lechery and blood.
Specimen (Fresh from a fantastic show at Leipzig’s Waves Gotik festival), the original Batcave instigators will headline the lurid frolics at the Embassy Club, (29 Old Burlington St, London W1S3AP) Also on the bill are original Batcavers Sexbeat, with DJs Hamish and Cavey Nick, cavorting from decks to decadence with the usual brutal, trouser-dropping surprises & suitably confronting & barbaric entertainment.
The 2009 Batcave will feature installations from exciting new artists of the ‘Dark London Underground’ and visuals from the upcoming ‘Welcome To The Batcave’ book, along with this year’s bitcrushed message from the creature in the Batcave Pram. All set in a spooky Bladerunner environment!
So dress to kill … prepare for a thrill & Expect the unexpected!

Pier Paolo Pasolini was an Italian director, screen writer, essayist, poet, critic and novelist. Pasolini was best known outside Italy for his films, many of which were based on literary sources: The Gospel According to Saint Matthew, The Decameron, The Canterbury Tales, Salo or The 120 Days of Sodom. He often used shocking juxtapositions of imagery to expose what he saw as the vapidity of values in modern society. This compilation is a musical tribute to one of most influential and respected Italian artists of the 20th century, including unreleased and rare songs from artists such as :
