Sounds Like
Your favorite artists in all their glory - without the instruments.
The ScatterTones are one of UCLA's co-ed a cappella groups, founded in 2002, and have been blowing away audiences wherever they go. 15 members strong, the group performs covers of pop/rock with one unique twist - no instruments. And yet people still can't believe what they hear, with rocking soloists, vocal percussion that rivals drum machines, and intricate arrangements. From Berkeley to San Diego, the group has opened for professional groups m-pact and Sixth Wave, competed in the International Championship of College A Cappella, and entertained over 10,000 individuals over just the past three years. Wherever they go, there's a standing ovation to be found.
The ScatterTones completed their second album and released it June 5th, 2008 with the help of recording gurus Peter Hollens, Bill Hare, James Cannon, Tat Tong, Ed Boyer, and Charlie Forkish.
