Scott Dyer is a singer/songwriter and is the Pastor of Worship and Arts at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship in the northern suburbs of Dallas. He was on staff at Willow Creek Community Church in suburban Chicago for 14 years prior to coming to Dallas. In his time at Willow Creek, Scott produced 4 CD’s for the church and wrote many songs for midweek and weekend services. Some of those songs include "Everything I Am", "He Was", "Lay Your Burdens Down", "Only By Grace" and "Forgive Me". "Forgive Me" was written for a Willow Creek Communion service. The first time it was introduced, Rebecca St. James happened to be in the congregation. She asked Scott to send it to her, and eventually recorded it on her 2005 CD, "If I Had One Chance to Tell You Something", together with BarlowGirl (who grew up at Willow Creek!). Scott lives in suburban Dallas with his wife, Vonda, and his 2 daughters. Scott’s latest CD with Bent Tree Bible Fellowship, "Still Amazed:Live Worship at Bent Tree", is available at www.btbf.org/stillamazed, or on itunes. hey thank you for the request...you are very welcomed in my page...Loved the songs...keep prayng the Lord God Almighty....and spreading His name on this earth...
Scott, your song Still Amazed continues to bless me through the years. I cry most every time that I hear it. Thank you for the song. :) Miss Bethany Isanhart
I listened. My honest opinion, nothing can top Still Amazed. These are good for younger people to learn. Basic hymns are very rarely sung anymore, and I know that bothers older people.
You are the next edition in our new "Meet The Family" feature. It's just a short piece to let people know a bit about you. Hope you like it! God bless, ~Steve
