Sounds Like
I think of my sound as pretty unique. I guess you could say it sounds a bit like Stevie Wonder, Jason Mraz, Marc Broussard, and Gavin Degraw.
Scott Hoying is an accomplished singer, songwriter, and pianist who has been performing since he was eight years old. Now 15, he has evolved into a bluesy-pop artist with a unique sound that is fast gaining a fan base. Scott can usually be found singing at venues around the Dallas Fort Worth area. He is always busy with various music projects, and recently completed another one with Kidd Kraddick. He arranged, recorded the piano track, and the lead vocals for the new theme song for the Kidd’s Kids charity. The song is called “This is Your Moment,” and will air live June 9th, coast to coast, on “The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show.” Scott also recently collaborated with jazz artist Julie Bonk to write and record a tribute to our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. The song is complete and is already getting interest from several producers in Los Angeles and elsewhere. The song is called “Coming Home” and will debut publicly at the “The Red Carpet To Recovery Gala” show on July 8th, 2007 in Southlake, Texas. Over the years Scott has gained fame through the many contests he has won including Johnnie High's "Next Big Star" contest, Kidd Kraddick’s Jingle contest, and Nashville’s American Music Showcase. At age 12 Scott performed for 4 million TV viewers as a finalist on CBS’s Starsearch. He has also performed with the Radio Disney Superstars for several years and is scheduled to do some shows at Disney World in Orlando this summer. Scott honors America on a regular basis by singing the National Anthem and the God Bless America for the Texas Rangers, the Dallas Cowboys, and for other professional and college sporting events. Scott has already had a remarkable career in music, and he is just getting started. Look for great things from Scott Hoying in the future.

have not talked to you for a while now - sorry for that. Well you know what? I made it! Last week I moved over from Germany to the USA and am now located in Columbus, Indiana. Its really amazing here - thought I would have more problems to adjust but all went well. So hope that you are closer by sometime so I can come watching you.
