Sometime a few years back, Scott decided to leave the booming land of opportunity that is Michigan and migrated south to Louisville, Kentucky. Scott likes Louisville. Scott gets a little weirded out by people who get really hung up on how you pronounce Louisville. Anyway, Scott plays music and he does it for the ladies. His live show has been turning heads as of late and he has shared a stage with incredible musicians like Alejandro Escovedo, Chuck Prophet, World Leader Pretend and others. He has even been on tour with Ben Nichols (Lucero) and Cory Branan.
Scott has been recording with his new band Chemic. His efforts are now directed there. Listen up for a Chemic song on the new Louisville is for Lovers Vol 7 and stop by the Chemic page for information on their first full-length out this spring!

Jamie Barnes....The Recalibrated Heart..Avalable Now....The acclaimed Kentucky singer-songwriter Jamie Barnes returns with his third full length album, The Recalibrated Heart. Already lauded for his instropective songwriting, Barnes unloads ten of his most personal works in a dynamic range of reactions to persecution, depravaton and redemption. Recorded in his home studio in Louisville for a period of nearly two years, Barnes once again paints from a varied palette of instruments including guitar, banjo, flute, keyboards, sarod, tabla and other various devices of percussion. John Ross also supplies a guest spot of sweet mandolin and accordian on "Day that cuts Till Dawn."
"..one of the most unique contemporary voices out there today" - Mats Gustafson of "the broken face" (sweden) and terrascope.uk
"Barnes' warm, softly yearning voice is instantly calming, an instrument in its own right that suggests lazy hours on a porch during a warm spring evening." - All Music Guide
"Barnes is 'honey' homespun" - The Big TakeOver
"There is a star being born here. Jamie's voice is effecting, hearfelt" - Static Signals
"Jamie's voice is soothing and gentle, and the production is brilliant." - Gothic Beauty
