Random odd but related stuff. Well, ok.... these never actually hit the newsstands, but they were interesting mockups to design just for the taste of it (fame, of course).
Rabbit ears, a smile and good taste in music will get you to college faster.
We start our street team/PR recruitment young and full of benevolent energy.

OCEANS OF NIGHT: Oceans of Night is a heavy rock/metal band that synthesizes a diverse range of musical influences under the deceptively descriptive title of "ambient progressive rock". As the enigmatic and mysterious name suggests, Oceans of Night forge a powerful, modern and dynamic musical experience that demands your undivided attention.
Consisting of musical mastermind Scott Mosher and vocal powerhouse Scott Oliva, the debut Oceans of Night CD, The Shadowheart Mirror, was released in June of 2009. Equal parts progressive metal and modern rock served with a distinct ambient flavor, The Shadowheart Mirror is a dark, haunting and cinematic musical statement that resonates with emotional impact.

SCOTT MOSHER:
Scott Mosher has been an independent, self-financed musician for over 15 years and released 4 CD's of ambient progressive rock music since 1996 eponymously. Beginning with his first CD, AMBIENT EARTH, released in 1996, Scott began to carve a path for himself regardless of boundaries, constraints and more fortuitiously, music industry support. He continued on this road with the release of VIRTUALITY in 2001, INFERNO in 2004 and DEEP HORIZON in 2006.
A professional graphic artist since 1997, he has also published an industrial photography book, Monuments of Chaos in 2007, and continues to function on the high end of the design richter scale as an in-demand art director for small businesses, independent musicians, self-published authors and hapless family members. As a rabid idealist for longer than he can remember, and an allroundniceguy his entire life, he approaches all of his creative endeavors with zeal that would make Dick Cheney at an Enron shareholders meeting envious. Lest you think this compromises his creative ethos, you would be sorely mistaken and forthwidth, your library card will be revoked.
Although he has never appeared on the Arsenio Hall Show, won a Grammy Award, graced the cover of ROLLING STONE magazine or been involved in a corporate embezzlement schemes, Scott continues to ply his trade with determination and a great set of Ginzu knives. For all the emphasis placed upon his art as a hybrid of styles, ideals and emotions, his music stands as a personal artistic statement - yet fits all head sizes.
Scott Mosher - Deep Horizon (CD, 2006):An ambitious and dramatic musical journey that synthesizes a diverse range of influences under the banner of contemporary progressive metal. Featuring the vocal talents of Wind Wraith/Live After Death/Inner Strength vocalist, Scott Oliva, and an emphasis on powerful vocal melodies, lush keyboard textures and a dynamic, guitar-oriented sound, DEEP HORIZON makes a strong artistic statement where progressive metal and modern rock converge. This is progressive music and this is DEEP HORIZON.
Scott Mosher - Inferno (CD, 2004):
INFERNO expands upon the synthesis of heavy progressive rock and ambient textured soundscapes established on VIRTUALITY. It continues in his tradition of synthesizing heavy progressive rock and ambient electronic music embellished by melodic guitar work, mellifluous vocals and impressionistic lyrics. INFERNO delves further into the worlds of hauntingly melodic and dark evocative music. With a stronger emphasis on vocal arrangements, guitar-based dynamics and dramatic song structures, INFERNO makes a bold statement as the next step in artistic evolution... and fits all head sizes.
Scott Mosher - Virtuality (CD, 2001):
VIRTUALITY merges the musical worlds of progressive metal, ambient, new-age and cinematic rock in a contemporary fusion of trance-inspired song structures. The thematic soundscapes of VIRTUALITY forge a dramatic and atmospheric listening experience without genre specific constraints while attaining a dynamic rarely heard in todays corporate musical climate. All in all, this is a distinct, diverse and dynamic release from someone who is not afraid to merge a hybrid of musical genre's, showcase his digital artwork, and share his spirited personal convictions, while maintaing his position as the original allroundniceguy.
Scott Mosher - Ambient Earth (CD, 1996):
This is the first CD release from Mr. Mosher following his MONUMENTSOF CHAOS (available on cassette) in 1995. AMBIENT EARTH paints the surreal landscapes of the cosmic mind and the infinite imagination using electronic instrumentation, analog and digital, and weaving them together in a haunting and beautiful combination of ambient progressive space rock, and contemporary new age music. Tribal rhythms merge with lush, dreamy chord washes, mysterious and majestic melodies combine with abstract, contemplative textures. It is at once strangely ominous and eerily evocative. Rich in synth melodies and tribal percussion, interspersed with guitar and exotic instrumentation throughout its expansive 75-minute running time.
Two Worlds Apart (solo section). This is the solo section from a new song - potentially from a forthcoming release - I don't know, sometime in early 2009? Unquestionably before E(llefson)F5's next CD! It's all I've got right now, and yes, the kitchen is attached to the recording studio - easy access to my carbonated beverage of choice - Dr. Pepper!
