Hot Mix Entertainment is headed by legendary DJ Scott "Smokin" Silz. Scott has been at the top of game and spinning records since 1977.

An original member of Chicago's world-renown Hot Mix 5 DJ team, he has received numerous awards for professional excellence. His top-rated mix shows have been heard on 107.5 WGCI FM, V-103, and WBMX in Chicago and in New York at WBLS just to name a few. He's been nominated for "best touring event in the USA" by Campus Activities Magazine. And he's received a 1 ranking for DJ Artistry from the Chicago Tribune. Scott is the Director of Production and Imaging for Clear Channel Radio at the top 2 music stations in Chicago WGCI and V-103 and has won awards for both commercial production and Imaging. He is the Creative Services Director with Premiere Radio Networks for Reverend Jesse Jackson's syndicated show "Keep Hope Alive" and a Producer for BRG Music/King Size Radio. In all, Scott's work can be heard in over 200 markets.
