Screamchain from Valkeakoski Finland fired off in 2006 when guitarist Matti "Määz Turbate" Auerkallio called his ex-bandmate Timo "Hans Olo" Rintala "I got this riff... Don’t know what it is but it really kicks!". An hour worth of jamming and Screamchain’s first song called Sunday Drive was born.
After considering their current situation the duo asked Farmakon -guitarist Toni "Ziggy Manlove" Salminen if he’d like to sing in this kind of band. The answer was clear "Fuck Yeah!!". One more old friend was needed to complete the circle and Jaakko "Jack Passion" Paasio sat on the drummers seat. This line-up recorded Screamchain’s first demo in 2006. It consisted of three songs and was published only in the internet.
Soon after hearing the demo a local guitar hero Timo "T.T Rocka" Tuimala decided that he was going to be Screamchain’s other guitarist. He just decided so. Though he also said that even a triangle would do. We took him into consideration. After a short trial it was pretty clear. Welcome to the band and get this guy a beer!
Our second more tighter and rougher demo saw daylight in 2007.
The music of Screamchain is a fine blend of Pantera, Black Label Society, Down and Corrosion of Conformity. Lots of beer and good friends.

The line-up has reduced by one guitar player but our vibes have multiplied exponentially breeding new songs at a growing rate.
