Sounds LikeAmerican Terrorist is my favorite song by far. It has even reached my top 100 most played songs in iTunes. (as a side note, I have over 17,500 items in my library) It’s pure talent that S.O.E. is able to make music this crushing, interesting, and eminently headbangable. - Nefarious Realm

"I just can’t get enough of this stuff. Six extremely talented musicians decided to make brutal music and out came a mixture out of Unearth and Cataract. Really impulsive and full of hate with that great traditional Heavy-Metal edge. Highly recommended." - Dare Devil Magazine

"With so much garbage out there SOE is a breath of fresh air. Very heavy, better than most new bands I hear. I expect big things from them in the future." - Iann Robinson - MTV VJ

"The last time an album of this type of music impressed me this much was when Killswitch Engage put out "Alive or Just Breathing." Given the right chance at the right time, Screams’ have what it takes to be huge, not just in the underground, but the mainstream world of modern rock." - Bogus Rendition

"Screams of Erida are an exception to the regurgitation. They come hailing from Boston, MA with a serious mix of aggression and melody. The self titled EP has six intense tracks that kept my head moving and ears begging for more." - Hardcore Sounds

"Containing six songs, Burn the World is one of the best EP’s I’ve heard. Screams of Erida’s catchy hardcore, leaning towards metal, could be described as a mix of Heaven Shall Burn and Caliban." - Rokkizine

Boston’s Screams of Erida had the dubious honor of following The Tenth Circle, but their massive triple-guitar onslaught, impassioned songs, and thunderous breakdowns kept the crowd in constant motion. Fans of Cataract or Unearth should love this band’s melodic warfare. With three guitarists and a bassist set to kill, their live sound was the epitome of a wall of guitars. The guitar sound swirled around a solid rhythmic foundation that energized the crowd throughout the interplay of breakdowns and faster riffs. Every person in this band played with unrestrained fervor and the crowd responded in kind. The energy exchange was infectious even for us metal purists. They’re currently not signed, but some record label would do well by adding Screams of Erida to the roster. - Smother Magazine

Onto what I believe is a diamond in the rough (a.k.a. the underground Boston scene) and the best underground release of the year "Burn the World" (guess I blew that one early huh?). Anyway, all of the elements of this band are outstanding and I’m very much looking forward to their full-length debut in 2006. - Harm Magazine

   About SCREAMS OF ERIDA
"Boston's Screams of Erida have fashioned a blend of metal that involves catchy songs and excellent vocals. They have earned a following throughout the New England area thanks to their intense live performances and aggressive sound."
- Kathleen Giordano, NEMO

In the June of 2004, Screams of Erida released a six song EP titled BURN THE WORLD with producer Ken Susi (Unearth). Ken produced, engineered and mixed the EP in his private studio. The EP received many positive reviews from many magazines, e-zines and fans and gained them a lot of exposure regionally and nationally.

After the release of BURN THE WORLD, Screams of Erida performed continuously in the northeast region to spread their growing fan base. They acquired endorsement deals from VHT Amplification, Spector Basses, Rock Star Energy Drink, Threadless Clothing and more during this time. They performed with numerous national acts such as Unearth, As I lay Dying, Misery Signals, Atreyu, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Deftones, Thrice, A Life Once Lost, Remembering Never, The Autumn Offering, Cattle Decapitation, Emery, If Hope Dies and more.

In March of 2006, the band won the Taste of Chaos Battle of the Bands. They were picked out of hundreds of bands to be in the top 5 voting category. Then the voting was opened to the public on Myspace.com where thousands of myspace.com users submitted their votes. Screams of Erida won the competition and performed at Taste of Chaos Massachusetts date at the Tsongas Arena along side some of the industries top artists. This contest gained them even more exposure.

In October 2006, the band released their full-length debut titled, THE RED TESTAMENT. The album was recorded with producer Ken Susi (Unearth), and was mixed by Eric Rachel (A Life Once Lost, Every Time I Die, Atreyu, Dead to Fall). THE RED TESTAMENT has been selling consistently since its release and is available on iTunes.

“Imagine your fattest friend...Now image your fat friend colliding into you at 100mph. That's how powerful this album is (and I thought their EP was powerful). ‘The Awakening’ is one of the most robust songs on the album, from the vocals to the bass to the drums. From clean singing to deep growls and screams and melodic riffs to pounding chugs. ‘American Terrorist’ is by far the best song off this album with ‘Beyond The Fall’ right behind it.”
- Darcy, Nefarious Realm

Screams of Erida did a short run of shows with Unearth and Since the Flood in January 2007. These shows ended up being the last few the band performed that year. In January 2008, exactly one year from their last show, Screams of Erida performed at Bill’s Bar in Boston for their home town.

So what does the future future hold for Screams? maybe more shows...maybe a new album?

Honoured by the support. Let me tell you more about my music :

-Soft Incarnation : Dark, Gothic, Indus. Someone condamn it guilty to be strangely rock, melodious, mystic, and sensual.

-The Treaty of the Shades 1 & 2. Rock Progressive Gothic. My accessories confessed it's Frantic, Thumped, Epic, Melodious, Resonant, Mysterious, Scaring, Dizzy, Evolutive.

Music is supposed to turn the time into space. I don't claim anything about my style. Everyone can be judge and give one's verdict.

Greetings,
SF
