Born Christopher Harris in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, DJ $crilla started out at the age of 15 on a mission to bring his unique style to the rap game, which would enable him to touch the masses. Since he stepped in the game, he has performed all over the country, including being the first rapper to ever perform at the Grand Ole Opry. This versatile artist has an appreciation for various genres of music, which has led him to open up for the likes of Lloyd, Ryan Cabrera, Petey Pablo, JoJo, 8 Ball & MJG, and Kevin Lyttle. .. .. Over the course of his life, music greats such as the late Tupac Shakur, Jay Z, Al Green, Stevie Wonder, and Coldplay have all uniquely impacted $crilla and the way he approaches his music. From his first album, “The Chronicle” in 2001, to the highly buzzed about mixtape “Grand Theft Audio”, $crilla began laying the foundation for his musical transformation. With the release of “Fully Focused”, “My Story:Everybody’s Got One” and his latest album “Me, Myself, And I”, he has begun to blaze a trail for the next generation of rap. .. ..
