Hi,
good to see you on myspace. We both played the 91 Abbey Park.I can remember watching you lot on the day.One of the best gigs we did with the added bonus of crazy head and the diesels headlining.I shouldn`t really say this now i live in Derby but the summer sundae, good is it probably is,dosn`t seem the same .The 91 Abbey p was particularly good as there was a bit of a buzz with all the Leicester bands appearing to be "breaking out".My old bass player Andy plays in a band called Echolocation and last Sunday at their gig the old Career girls line up, bar the drummer ,was in the same room together for the first time in a while.Good luck with the frog island thingy. It`s unlikely that the career girls will ever reunite as Midge hasn`t played keys for a long time, i`ve done nothing for ten years and the drummer is being elusive, but i think the scum pups should give it a go as you`d got a stonking sound going on.
All the best
Tim
i've loved reading your comments.the various venues that people saw you at. I too saw you live in bloody Grantham of all places! I remember it which could mean either you were great(i think this one is more likely) or i just havn't taken enough drugs over the years as i remember alot about those days. I still love your version of drive blind..... thanks for your comments.keep on rocking in the shit world...!
1992, Princess Charlotte, punky kid with about 5 quid in his pocket, Rockin out to you boys.... Fkin blinders.... well till i lobbed my last pint n got kicked out for bein waaay underage n pissed out my head.... Ahhhhh memories

ahh, nostalgia.. the old charlotte when it was still a pub, the pups, revhead, screamin' bastards.. remember all that great stuff?? lee holford transforming from mild-mannered placid gent into total psycho in a balaclava scaring the beejesus out of unsuspecting gig-goers?? hah hah!! then there was me and midge getting all excited over green day's first record!! them's were the days..
see ya's later.. jamie.
HI FELLAS! ISN'T NOSTALGIA GREAT! GIGS AT THE CHARLOTTE WHEN SHE WAS A PRINCESS, UPSTAIRS AT THE MAG & THE SPREAD EAGLE, AMONG OTHERS. WONDER IF COMPANY FOR HENRY HAVE A PROFILE TOO? SMASHING TO HEAR YOU AGAIN. CHEERS!!
I really appreciate Leicester now I live in Guildford. There is no music scene here whatsoever. Just hundreds of silly posh kids with guitars slung over their shoulders and perfect, hair but no bands!!!
