Hervorgegangen aus der Asche der der beiden Ruhrgebiets Punk/Rock n Roll Bands District & The Revolvers starteten
2nd District im Sommer 2005 ...Es folgte schnell eine 7" Single Young&Disorderly (auf Drunk n Roll Rec.) und im Herbst 2006
das starke Album" Emotional Suicide" auf People like you Rec. ..Mit diesem Output und vielen Konzerten in Deutschland,
Schweiz,Österreich , Tschechien , Holland , Polen etc. unterstrichen die Jungs ,dass sie zur Speerspitze des deutschen Punkuntergrundes gehören ...Die Musik , eine Mischung aus den Sex Pistols , Buzzcocks, Dead Boys, Slaughter& the Dogs ,Eater...aber auch aus Bands wie New York Dolls , T-Rex ,Hanoi Rocks etc. sucht in Deutschland ihresgleichen ...
Gerade haben die Jungs die Aufnahmen ihres neuen Albums "Poverty makes Angry " abgeschlossen ...das Album wird dann
voraussichtlich Januar/ Februar 2009 auf People like You / Dirty Faces erscheinen...haltet eure Augen offen..
