'Second Left' aka Ben Preston is a Producer/DJ based in the UK. As well as his Ben Preston alias, Second Left is also known as one half of the dance act 'Tastemakers' (www.myspace.com/tastemakermusic) and also one half of the 'Soulmakers'.
It has been a busy and successful year for Ben, producing records and remixes for the likes of Black Hole Recordings (Tiesto's Label), Armada Recordings (Armin Van Buuren's Label), High Contrast, Lost Language, Lange Recordings and Garuda (Gareth Emery's New Imprint). With strong and evident support on his productions from Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Above and Beyond, Gareth Emery, Carl Cox, Cosmic Gate, Lange, Markus Schulz, Judge Jules, Steve Smart and many others to name, Ben Looks set to break through as a highly recognised artist in the not so distant future.

Ben has also found time to write a large catalogue of compostions especially suited to media. Ben works on a Bespoke basis for Boosey and Hawkes, receiving various pitches for high profile advertisments and is currently working closely with Felt Music as they build their catalogue of library music. Ben has worked on tracks for companies such as Specsavers, and has also had credits on other media types including Moto GP 08, a computer game for all console platforms.
