Secret Highways are a trio of transplants to Seattle. Meade Krosby and Eric Bruns come from Washington DC, where she was one half of avant rock duo Diastemata and he most recently played in lo-fi electronica outfit EBSK. Drummer Barry Jay Tibbs has been stranded in Seattle since his band's van broke down here six years ago, and previously played drums for Between the Devil and The Deep Blue Sea. Colliding elements include space-rock, pop, and prog, described provisionally as “…springs, coils, gears falling all over the floor into a beautiful stream of soft, shiny molten metal.”
