Our goal is to get a message of truth out there, to have people google our band name and find out that canada is just as bad as the states when it comes to detaining people and stripping them of their rights/proper trials. We also want more brown girls to pick up guitars and start getting seen and heard. Our final goal is to expand this thing called Taqwacore just a little more.

    We've been listening to punk for a long time, and when we came across The Kominas we were like "wha?!" brown guys singing about Islam and shit? It all came together when we realized that we all had what it took to start our own band, and we are all friends and have moshed in many pits together.

    So this is our attempt, and we hope to start gigging and getting some more songs onto our myspace page VERY soon.
