Of course Lamia! =] AND thanks! HAH! Well, I used to go to a lot of local shows round my city when I was in 8th grade (ever the rebel--lols). Your style reminds me of some of those bands and by association, the dark venues and getting into trou--having adventures. ;]
At my school, I am going to have a fundraiser in order to support the LGBT. (If you don't know what that means, it's the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender parties.) A few days ago was the Day of Silence, and I think it's a great kick off for this fundraiser. People are highly influenced by the power of music, and by the power of books. What does that mean? Wizard Rock. We are going to have a large get together where we are playing Wizard Rock music, watching Harry Potter, etc. All the money we earn is going to be donated to support these groups of people. If any of you have any clothing merchandise, or new - and affordable - c.d. 's, please message me, so I can purchase them from you and we can auction them off at this event! THANK YOU!
Yeah, I'm moving, with an odd sense of inevitability, in a steampunk/victoriandustrial direction. For me, it's not an abandonment of wrock, really (if there was an industrial music movement in the Wizarding World, it would have a very "steam" feel to it, I'd say). It's more a switch from overt to implicit...along with pursuing something that's really caught my fancy for a while now.
If that's a direction you're considering, I say by all means jump on it. I can't imagine the results would be anything less than remarkable.
