The Dixie Duo formed in February of 2006 when two aspiring songwriters, through mere happenstance, bumped into one another in the thriving metropolis that is Huntsville, AL. Fueled by a primal desire to write, record and perform, the Duo strove to bring their pop rockabilly style to the masses. Then, in October of that very same year, the Duo began to slide down the stripper-pole of rock star excess toward the path of a fiery implosion. After the pimps and repo man picked through the bits, there was a great rumbling from the earth beneath them and thunder and lighting from the sky above. The Duo had an idea. Why not gather around themselves an army of darkness to help bring their style of sweet misery to the masses. And they shall be called Seducing Alice...
