For a long time ago, emerged in Africa a seed of humanity.
The Seed of songs, the dances, songs.
Today, plantamos the seed of a new society whose development is the mixture of cultures.

Seed is an amalgam of influences from Africa (west coast, the ethnic Mandingo), Cuba and Brazil, among others. A journey through movement and inspired musical forms in the imagination of nature alive and in ancestral traditions.
The powerful rhythms of djembés and dununs, chicotadas vigorous of congas, the charming melodies of the balafon, a merry samba align themselves to ethnic-contemporary choreography, making this a show of strong character and visual sensory.

OBJECTIVES

Portugal has historical and cultural links with several African countries, Eastern and Hispanic for several centuries. Their customs and rituals of music and dance are captivate increasingly influencing our culture and our artistic expression, as has been happening a bit in the entire Western world.

The group Seed crosses ethnic and traditional elements with contemporary references in order through the dissemination of their music and dance, raise awareness and involve the public to the ancestral ties that bind man to Earth.
