About Sera del Fuego

Sera del Fuego is:

The outsider's cocktail. Their songs celebrate the nighttime hours because they are vilified. Their lyrics celebrate the disenchanted because they are ostracized. Their music embraces diversity because the band prefers not to cater to anything established, but rather to be everything at once- taking every curse, every sparkle, every cut, every fuck, every night that is nothing and creating a sound larger than three people have any right to.

Name:
Sera del Fuego translates into "evening of fire" combining words of both Italian and Spanish. It is important that no one language can easily make sense of their name: you don't have to have a country to have Sera del Fuego.

Album:
Live Romance, their debut album, was recorded in San Diego at Black Box Recording Studios. The album wears ambiguity on its sleeve because the rules we knew no longer matter in these times. They DON'T. The work of Sera del Fuego exists beyond the current musical establishment because it is one that deliberately thrives on separation and racism. Music that rebels against it is the honest music of our time.

Shows:
Sera del Fuego shows are something between a party and an avalanche. Above all things, however, they radiate swagger. Swagger in the worst of times- as a fire in the night, passion gone real. Sera del Fuego is based in Boston and plays regularly. Keep posted or get in touch.
