I also read young adult literature to keep up with my students. Madeleine L'Engle's "A Wrinkle in Time," "A Wind in the Door," and "A Swiftly Tilting Planet," are three of my favorite books. | | Heroes | My son, Jack, who gave his life in service to our country. About me:
This is really difficult! How do I, for public consumption, sum up who I am? I'm not a big fan of the "Defining Myself By The Roles I Play" and the "I'm Listing All the Bad Things I've Ever Done" methods of self-disclosure. But then again, if I REALLY let you know who I am (things such as what I think and how I feel), I think I'll feel ... too exposed, I guess.
Now, having said all that ~~ I'm a woman, sister, daughter, wife, mother, grieving parent, step-mother, grandma, educator, Christian, and Navy daughter, wife and mother.
