About Shadow Of Creation(Looking for Vocals)

What began as an extreme metal outfit in 2003-2004 has since been tamed and tempered, expanding musical boundaries to exemplify the practice of extreme metal genres tapping into the very essences of chaotic new age and progressive formats.

'Shadow of Creation' adopts assertive rhythmic progressive/power-metal passages while accentuating the mood with dissonant harmonies and a very non-linear approach to contemporary progression.

The unique sound that is trademark to 'Shadow of Creation' was birthed amidst clashing opinions, many arguments and mixed ideals of what the whole of metal really is. At heart, the last concern was to ride the waves of generic trends in hopes of winning false attention. SoC collectively seeks to dispel the myth that would suggest there are limits within writing extreme music or that metal has to be very linear and one-dimensional to be truly appreciated.

Lyrical concepts and themes range from great imaginative works of fiction to philosophic writings and archaic myths. Inspired by the likes of Homer, Charles Dickens, Stephen Hawking and Basilides in Alexandria.
