Emerging from Bristol's burgeoning dubstep scene comes an emcee who stands head & shoulders above the water margin. A versatile lyricist, powerful singer & no-holds-barred rapper all in one, Shadz has quickly won fans with his comanding stage presence & consumate professionalism. Backed by the Root Elevation band lead by drummer/producer Type Sun, this is live dubstep & future soul at it's most edgy & interactive. Keyboards, bass guitar, mpc & drum kit combine to perform tunes by such in demand producers as: Joker (Kapsize/Earwax), Gemmy (Planet Mu), Jack Sparrow (Contagious/Senseless), Wedge (HENCH) & Guido (Punch Drunk).
From over 10,000 acts down to 22, Shadz recently made the top 5 of uk unsigned acts in national competition live and unsigned. He impressed judges by the likes of Malcom Mclaren(manager of sex pistols), Annie Nightingale(Radio one DJ) and Dane Bowers(Another level). The grand final took pleace at the portsmouth Guildhall on june 27th 2009.......Watch this space for whats next in store for shadz!!
