Shannon's music is both meaningful and fun, and influenced mostly by pop/rock artists from her own generation. After writing and performing for two years, she released her debut album, "Brainstorms", during the summer of 2006. She has performed at major local festivals, like Mayfest and Diversafest, and was nominated for Best Pop Act at the Tulsa World's Spot Music Awards in 2006. Her latest album, "Glass Doll", was released in July of 2009. Unlike "Brainstorms", which was entirely about love, "Glass Doll" has a wider range of themes. Songs like "The Harder It Gets" provide an inside peek into the mind of a struggling artist. According to Shannon, "The underlying pattern of my vulnerability, sensitivity, and general breakableness led me to name the album 'Glass Doll'. Even though it describes my specific journey over the past few years, I think everyone can relate to the frustration, rejection, doubt and hope they will hear in this collection of songs."

I am so in love with Glass Doll! It is certainly representative of the high-quality work I've come to expect from you. Just like with Brainstorms, I've been playing it nearly constantly since I got it! "Unconsciously" is the prettiest song you've put out yet! Are you having a good summer? I am. It's relaxing and fun. Been hanging out with my family, going to festivals(music and wine), and what not. Going to PA end of August and possibly meet couple of friends I met online :)
