Unique powerful vocals, BIG guitar, feel-good, groove-oriented rock & roll with a full dropper of Blues coloring.
This unique sounding band combines Rock/Blues/Pop & R&B and a whole lotta soul. They appeal to a wide audience, from 20-year-olds to 80-year-olds and all races and color. But most importantly this band knows how to bring an audience together and allow them to feel something deep within their souls they never thought existed. You have to see them to understand.
Lead vocalist, Shari Puorto (2004 Best Female Vocalist winner @ SBMA*) has been compared to such artists as, Melissa Ethridge, Janis Joplin, and Bonnie Raitt. Not only is her passion for music transparent; but she quickly forms a bond with her audience (she's likely to steal your heart if you get too close!).
Considering that each section of this band is more than physically powerful, there is plenty of space within the band's material for intense and muscular soloing from each member.
Among many past credits, Shari Puorto has been the supporting show and has graced the stage with such bands as, Dickey Betts & Great Southern, Robin Trower, Coco Montoya, Larry Carlton, Robben Ford, Dave Mason, Ike Turner, Leon Russell, Eric Sardinas, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers, Lee Rocker, Billy Vera & the Beaters, - the list keeps growing.
From powerful and soulful vocal delivery to creative guitar hooks and leads, this combination makes them one of today's hottest, most exciting live performing bands.

Hi Shari Puorto, Heaven & Earth is on hiatus now as Stuart Smith and Richie Onori have joined forces with bassist Steve Priest to reform "Sweet". For those of you unfamiliar with the band, Sweet originally formed in the early 70s and went on to sell over 40,000,000 albums with 11 International Top Ten Hits such as "Ballroom Blitz", "Little Willy", "Love is Like Oxygen", "Fox on the Run", "Teenage Rampage", "Action", "Blockbuster", "Hellraiser" and many others. This reincarnation of the band reformed last year, playing their first show in June, and went on to play festivals throughout Canada and the States and had played to over 300,000 people before the year was out. During this tour last year they recorded a live CD available on Amazon entitled "Sweet, Live in America" which has received rave reviews - pick up a copy and please Add Sweet As Your Friend On Myspace! http://www.myspace.com/thesweetband Also, check out our friend Red Hot Chili Pepper Chad Smith's new band, Chad Smith's Bombastic Meatbats and their iTunes Top 10 Funk/Jazz debut release, "Meet the Meatbats"! http://www.myspace.com/bombasticmeatbats
