MISSION STATEMENT or THE SHEA STADIUM DOCTRINE
We are a recording studio/all ages showspace dedicated to documenting live performances. We like to think of ourselves as a public recording facility, committed to giving touring bands and local artists who cannot normally afford proper recordings a chance to record their live set free of charge. During these special "Live at Shea Stadium" events, our doors will be open for all to enjoy. Bands are encouraged to bring as many friends/fans as they like to help bridge the gap between a studio session and a live performance. We at Shea Stadium strive equally to give audiences a great sounding place where they can cut loose and have a good time, all while providing the performers with free high-quality recordings that they can be proud of. Our mission is to create a fresh new environment for live performances, and capture it all on tape.
Be aware that we do ask for a donation at the door to keep the space afloat...
