Reading, listening to music, the same old stuff.
Drinking with friends. Not drinking with friends. Friends (not the TV programme).
Playing cards (though don't currently know any card players).
Drawing, writing (neither of which I do enough of).
Music
Goth, deathrock, darkwave, industrial. Devilish Presley, Psychophile, Swarf, Deathboy, Fields of the Nephilim, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Screaming Banshee Aircrew.
That's the more obvious stuff, but really I have wide and varied tastes (the words 'truly' and 'eclectic' spring to mind). At this exact moment in time I'm listening to the Requiem Mass by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (how Goth!), but at any given time I could be listening to just about anything.
Addendum: because it's easier to nick someone else's list (with modifications for my own taste) rather than be original - that is precisely what I'm going to do:
Aerosmith; Ana Voog; The Beatles; Bjork; Blondie; The Cure; David Bowie; Deep Purple; Guns 'n' Roses; Jimi Hendrix; Johnny Cash; Joy Division; Kate Bush; The Kinks; Lou Reed; Marilyn Manson; NIN; Portishead; The Rolling Stones; Tori Amos; The Velvet Underground.
Movies
Anything that rewards repeated viewings, films with little touches in the background that you don't notice first time around.
Er, and also pictures with lots of special effects, though I do have some standards so some sort of plot is nice too.
Pinching ideas from other myspace users: Pulp Fiction; Gingers Snaps; Nosferatu; various versions of Dracula; Interview with the Vampire; Silence of the Lambs.
Television
Once upon a time I used to watch TV a lot. That time is now passed. I no longer have a TV, and cannot foresee getting one anytime soon. Any TV programmes I want to watch (and there aren't many) I get on DVD...
Books
Michael Moorcock, Terry Pratchett, Mervyn Peake - Gormenghast, Michael Marshall Smith - Only Forward
Heroes
Hero-worship abdicates responsibility for your life away from you - look within yourself for motivation, not to others who are fallible.
sheridan wilde is not my real name, which is partly why I put it all in lower case. Sheridan is my middle name, while Wilde comes from the Wilde Wood that used to cover all of Europe before much of it was chopped down. I like trees, forests, the aboreal wilderness so when I registered a domain, Wilde Wood was the name I chose...
Some online communities have sheridan already registered as a username, so I generally go for sheridanwilde in those places. Others don't, so I can just stick with sheridan (like at gothintra.net).
I have woefully neglected this profile, so apologies to anyone expecting to find anything interesting here. I don't think I've even used the journal feature, though that's largely because I use livejournal instead.
p.s. you know what I hate - that thing with '8 friends' on it - just turns it all into a popularity contest - if it was possible I'd have that disabled. To those of you into popularity contests - the first slot is taken by the person who first invited me to myspace, while those after it are those who seem to be online most or who actually live near me geographically.
Who I'd like to meet:
Interesting and witty people. Though isn't myspace supposed to be music-oriented? This section makes it look suspiciously like a dating site...
Well, bless my soul if it's not Sheridan! How are you doing, Sir? Are you out this weekend? I know I've been a tad quiet recently, but am hoping to be out and about, possibly at Reptile, in the near future :)

I seem to have fallen into the black hole of work. Working in a pub does mean that I don't get to go to as many of the clubs as I'd like. But other than that, I'm good. How about you?
Just stopping by to say hi, and to let you know that our latest batch of new designs are now all on sale at www. moonmaiden-gothic-clothing. co. uk - and if you spend £50 or more, you get a free Moonmaiden Scarfy!
Our Halloween was great! We went to Ireland for 4 days, and we celebrated Halloween and an Irish new year at the Gothic club in Dublin, and we really had an amazing time! How was Whitby?
Happy Halloween! Hope you had fun on your Birthday? Not sure if you're gonna spend Halloween at Thunder's party-me and James are going to Dublin for the weekend, so unfortunately we won't be there. But I'm sure we'll catch up soon. Have fun!
